Spots on my Gramm!

Folks can anyone help identify what this could be. I only recently noticed that the leaves of one of my Grammatophylums.

hmmm i don't have a gramm so i can't help.
Is it on all the leaves or just that one?

its on all the leaves of the new growth.

Check for mites, Gramms. are bad about them for some reason , try running a wet tissue across the underside of the leaf if you see orange smears that is what it is . The dark spots might be a secondary to them . Gin

I checked for the mites but i got nothing... i thought it might be a fungus or something so i sprayed with a bactericide/fungicide.

any other suggestions are welcome.

I'm having the SAME problem. Are the leaves weakening and becoming limp? I've already cut three of the largest leaves off the plant. I sprayed mine with alcohol, but no chemicals yet. My thread is just a few above or below yours...though it's been hijaked by someone.

My plant is still suffering, has yours improved? I repotted it t0day it wass totally rootbound, maybe it will help.

So far the spotting has seemed to stop and the root system is quite healthy (i have mine growing in charcoal, coconut, and broken clay pieces).

I used a general insecticide for all sorts of pests including ites and then two days later used the bactericide/fungicide (phyton 27).

I'm not sure which one helped but i suspected that i was mites that was attacking my or-kid.

I've been thinking maybe we are experiencing what others call cellular burst, when the plant goes from extreme dry to extreme wet.
