This is my first flower stem from her. Then I started noticing raised white bumps on her leaves. they haven't spread. The bumps are only on the top leaf and on the bottom leaf. On the top leaf they are on the top part off the leaf and on the bottom they are on the underside of the leaf. They just started appearing a few weeks ago and I don't know what they are pure what to do to prevent them. I can't post pictures for some reason. I will try to figure it out.
Make one more post and then post pics. It sounds like it could be scale in which case it needs some attention and isolation from other plants. They stick pretty good, but can be wiped off. If impossible to wipe off it could just be water bumps from getting a lot of water. Still you should let us see them just to make sure.
What is scale? I am going to be getting neem oil for a pest and fungicide will that take care of it? I have already had problems with a sick pothos. I guess this isn't my week : (
Scale is a pest that appears as small round discs on the leaves of plants and the immatures appear as white fuzz that looks like mold, often in crevices and crotches of leaves and stems. Neem oil is likely not powerful enough to eradicate it, only control it to some degree. But pictures are pretty necessary to even begin to confirm what you have.
All I can see is what look like a few scratches to the leaf where it has healed over. Did you get the plant like this or they just showed up out of the blue?? Do you have a cat or something that might be scratching or bothering the plant? Or they may have been there from being packaged and transported and in a store where maybe employees weren't real gentle and leaves got a bit damaged. I don't see anything to worry about.
