Diffuse brown spotting (unnatural) on psychopsis butterfly leaf
Dear all,
I hope somebody can advise me on this.
Few days ago I have noticed that on my psychopsis there are diffuse brown spots. They look like if they have a black centre small spot and the brown goes around (photo). It is only on one leaf and I check my plants every morning. I have re-pot this plant like 10 days ago. It is in my windowsill and doing fine. It has a new flower bud forming and even keiki growing from one of the nodes.
Looking forward to hear some opinions and advices...
Thanks!
J.

That appears to be a bacterial or fungal infection, but I think you may be one the verge of losing the entire plant. Notice the wrinkles in the edges of that leaf, and especially the pseudobulbs. They suggest an insufficient uptake of water. While that COULD be due to underwatering, it might be a lack of good roots, too.

Dear Ray,
First, thank you very much for your answer. Sounds scary :/
Well I have repoted it recently (maybe two weeks ago) and it had decent roots and new ones also. The pseudobulbs were like this since I have received the orchid in may 2015. And it has been blooming this will be third time already. I mist it every morning now with distilled water, but only slightly to wet the sphagnum moss which I have only on the surface of the pot. It is potted in the fresh Seramis orchid mix of bark and granulated clay.
In addition to my description of the problem and the orchid conditions I would add that by now these spots are not multiplying and that I have already sprayed it with 3% hydrogen peroxide soon as I saw it.... I hope I will save it...

I don't know what has caused the spots but I am glad that they are not multiplying or spreading. That is really good news. Like Ray, upon seeing the first post, I was alarmed. Some years ago, one of my Cattleyas had some infection that would start with a leaf getting spots like this and, within hours, the entire leaf would turn to brown mush. It went through that orchid so fast. I saved the orchid by cutting off all the infected leaves and wiping the remainder of the orchid, minus the roots, with Isopropyl alcohol a few times a day. It took years to recover.

Glad to hear that the plant is in better shape than the photo led me to believe!

Dear all,
That is true, the leaf with the spots is the same for days already. I think that infected leaf is getting a bit yellowish and discolored, but at the same time it is one of the older leaves. BTW the leaf looks completely normal on the backside! Keiki and the flower bud are luckily progressing.
I was wondering should I cut the leaf ??? Or just repeat the treatmant with hydrogen peroxide and/or isopropanol? Or wait to see how it will be for few days more?
Thanks everybody very much!
