Default moldy smelling mount

So I have 7 mounted orchids that all seem to be doing spectacular, except one... I mounted a new bare root bulbophyllum last week that I purchased from Andy's and now it smells moldy. I used the same materials on two of the other mounts that I did that day (cork slab, sphag, watered with inocucor's garden solution, kelp, weak MSU fert) and those are looking, and smelling, good. So what should I do about the stinky one? Just take it off the mount, pull all of the moss off and replace? Or does anyone have any other ideas that would not require me to take the orchid off of the mount?

Not sure why this one is stinky and my others are not

I would remove the moss. The orchid might need more air to the roots. Two of my Bulbos arrived mounted without any moss and I left them this way. One is growing in a jar and the other is in a miniature greenhouse for the humidity.

Pulling it off the mount might be a pain, but fungal or bacterial problems will be worse.
Take it off and douse with Physan. Remount on a different piece. It may have been something on the original mount that is causing the problem.

Sounds good, I do have some Physan and more cork laying around to use. Thanks!
