Dendrobium chrysanthum with round black spots -- is it a virus?

This is my Den. chrysanthum purchased from a nursery about two months ago. Recently I've noticed black ring-like spots developing on some of the leaves. And there are some light-colored patches on newly emerged leaves too.

Are these signs of viral infection? Shoud I destroy this plant?

First photo I think is fungal. Using a flame-sterilized blade, cut off & discard the affected leaf.

Second photo, I don't see any damage (?)

It seems to be fungal for me too. I'd also add some cynnamon to the cut to guarantee it seals quicker and avoid re-infection.

Thank you all for the advice. I removed the problematic leaf and applied some cinnamon.
