I'm not sure how I missed this until today, but one of my Cattleyas (Lc Green Veil "Dressy") has a bunch of blackish dots and speckles on the underside of one leaf. This particular bulb previously had two leaves but I removed the other when I bought it a month or so ago because it was wobbly and didn't seem extremely healthy. The other leaves seem unaffected, at least for now.

Needless to say, I'm concerned...I sprayed it with fungicide, but should I cut this leaf off all together? Does this look like it might be a fungal or bacterial infection? Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Hi, I'm not a specialist, however brown spots can be caused by bacteria/fungus infection. Best thing to do is to isolate the orchid from other plants and observe if the number of spots increase in number. Maybe some other people can help you better than me. Hope it's nothing. :-)

My first thought would be it is just pigment. But that usually occurs on the newer growths and often clears away on mature leaves. This looks like a mature leaf and not the newest one so I suspect it is bacterial or fungal. I would keep an eye on it and if it continues to get worse, cut the leaf off. Otherwise I would likely leave it on for now since you have treated it with fungicide.
