Curing Leaf Spot

Good Afternoon All,
It seems some of my collection have the dreaded leaf spot. I have read that it is almost impossible to eradicate. So, should I put some 'chids out of their misery before I bring them in- or cut off the infected leaves and try rehabbing? Has anyone had to deal with this life and death situation? Thanks in advance...

It would be rare for you to need to dump them in the trash. There are a lot of different kinds of leaf spot. A photo here might help, and you could look here:
