Very cool Camille. I used to catch insects and raise them when I was a kid And yes! One of the videos I watched on YouTube said that plants do that. Makes me curious whether my dendrobiums were doing that because there were wasps coming and going on them all afternoon.

Have you read the thread? You are probably thinking of yellow jacket wasps or hornet wasps, which is not the case here. The wasps discussed here are good insects, and their presence should be encouraged. They pose no danger to humans or animals, nor are they a nuisance. Most of the time these little wasps go completely unnoticed!

Also, I would like to add that wasps can hamper your plants and can sting you as well. Traps can be used if you are having wasps in your garden, peppermint oil can also be used as a tool to get rid of them. One can also use the chili-based spray as study reveals that wasps do not like spicy stuff. It is a good idea to avoid wasps but it is not possible always, if you find yourself in a problematic situation where you encounter a swarm of wasps, the thing you can do is hold a nest in your hands and call for some professionals for your help. As experts have the knowledge to deal with this matter, they can better help you get rid of wasps.

Yes. These little guys were definitely not dangerous to me. In fact, they were so small I initially thought they were little flies. And it they help to control aphid and other pest populations, I say they are helpful.
