Not all of mine are even or perfectly round little spots. It really depends on the plant.

Just based on those I've met…

Check the litteralture on catts on STAUG website , maybe you'll find something clearer on the sun spots.

Now for me, the issue here is not a real one, just more air for the plant is needed.

If the leaf gets ugly, I'd remove it before it goes to the bulbs. An external treatment for bacteria could do good (bordeaux mixture, hydrogen peroxyde…)

Again I cannot commit myself whether virus or not. Just for comparison I show somewhat irregular blotches on a new leaf of my C. jenmanni semialba that is tested positiv for CymMV.

It could still just be pigment blotches from good light on a virused Catt. Most of my Catts that tested positive had clear leaves!
