I purchased this dendro about a month ago and all has been well until today I noticed the flowers wilting and the roots that were growing outside the pot dry and dead. I purchased from TJ's so I figured it was in that pro mix. I guess I'm guilty of overwatering! Anyway I did an emergency repot and found spagnum moss packed just under the root ball I also noticed this moldy Stuff under 2 leaves and some small amount on the stalk. What do I do now? Help, I'm still way too new at this! Thanks to anyone with advice.

From the pic, your plant looks just fine. Maybe you've placed the orchid into a much warmer area cause the flower to drop faster than it should. I have this one too, it just done blooming and I repotted. It's in promix when I bought it and now its planted in bark. The stems shows a lot of wringle, but new growths are coming out of it and roots starts to grow. The old root will died off, but if the root still hard it will survive.

Sorry I thought I had posted 3 pics but one one showed. This is the close up of what I am concerned about. It is on the underside of several leaves. Thanks for taking a look.

Well, I think you can easily wipe it off with alcohol. I had a few leaves that had thats stuff too when I purchased mine. Wasnt sure what it was, so I kinda wipe it off with alcohol. I always soak my plant with bayer 3in1 just to disinfect (fungus and bugs) just to be sure I am not bringing anything I shouldnt bring home. So far, I havent had a plant that cause problem yet.

Super! Great news. I did wipe it off with alcohol but I think from now on I will take your suggestion of the Bauer 3 in 1 soak. Thank you so much.

It's called Sooty mold. I believe it's just a generic name for certain fungi that grow on honeydew secretions on plant surface.
They are very common for certain plants grown in very humid greenhouse.
Many phals and dendrobiums come with this.
The good news is that they are not pathogenic and come off easily when wiped.
Plus, in regular home growing condition, you will probably never see it since it's too dry at home.

Beautiful flowers, by the way!
