I'm wondering along with Sonya. If it's an older leaf on an older pbulb it's probably just natural death of the leaf. All of my Zygos (hybrids mainly) lose the outermost leaf on their pbulbs, and sometimes more.
Where are you growing your plant? I do not think this marking is connected to the loss of your old leaf.
This appears to be a bacterial infection from water sitting on the leaf during cold weather. Zygos are prone to this type of spotting/necrosis and if not kept in an environment with good air circulation and a warmer temp, this will happen. It is not pleasing to see but it does no permanent damage to the plant as a whole.
The plant lives inside under fluorescents. I never get water on the leaves because I've heard how 'sensitive' this species can be. The room has an overhead fan that runs low 24/7. Should I spray the plant down with neem oil?
My Zygos always get very spotted. I never get water on the leaves and my fans run 7/24 and enough air movement that some leaves move gently in the breeze. I grew one for about a year spot free, and have never been able to do that since. Don't even know what was happening that is now different. Some Zygos are almost deciduous and lose leaves quite easily on older bulbs.
