Cause for concern?

Hello everyone. I received a new Paph today from Hausermann orchids and after a thorough look over i noticed something strange. Perhaps this is me worrying to much but I am thinking this is small case of rot or mechanical/cold damage. Also, the leaves on the bottom are very pale two actually are white. Please give me all the advice you can. Thank you!

I bought one last week, my first one. So I'm interested to learn something about Paphs...It seems the photo is too bright making everything looks pale...is it possible to tak some photos with a more natural light (without the reflection of the white table)?

I will certainly try. I am also concerned about the dark brown dried crispy spots as well.

In the photos the leaves seems too pale, i.e., that color doesn't seem natural on an healty plant. But as I said, I'm not an expert on Paphs so let's see what others say.

I see absolutely nothing to be concerned about.

The pale leaves and brown spots might be a sign that it has been a bit underwatered at times.

Thank you everyone. I dusted the areas with cinnamon just as a precaution.

That could be a mistake.

Cinnamon powder is a tremendous desiccant. Applied to wounds and wet rots, it's fine. Applied to areas of the plant where new rhizomes and/or rots may emerge is a problem.

I only did a very light dusting on the brown parts. Not a heavy one as I have seen in pictures

Well... the brown parts are already dried out, so they need neither a desiccant nor a fungicide.

That's right where root tips emerge, and if they hit the powder, they'll stop growing.
