I just found this in my mini orchid lantern.

I hope I can kill them. This explains so much.
I hope I can find a solution that won't kill my tiny orchids and moss.

In my experience, Bush Snails are not affected by most molluscicides nor attracted to most baits - including beer traps.

About the only molluscicide I am aware that works is measurol, but I've only seen it in 25 pound bags as a granular bait.

However, I saw a few of those in a terrarium, so tried an experiment using a spray made up of 1% cinnamon leaf oil dissolved in isopropyl rubbing alcohol. One brief spray, and in 10 minutes they fell off of the plants and glass, with no effect on the plants.

I haven't seen them since.

I used pure Ceylon cinnamon leaf oil I purchase for resale from Cinnamonvogue.com. If you want to try that we both have the same retail price, so you can decide on shipping cost (I use a USPS Flat rate box.)

Have you thought about using the dry-ice method of smothering them with carbon dioxide fog? Another member used this on a terrarium filled with centipedes and it worked well. It does good with mealy bugs and scale, I would think that as snails need oxygen to live, this method would kill the snails and boost the plants a little.

I have many birds at my neighborhood so they eat all the snail that gets out from the boshes the bats are eating caterpillars too.

That's what I read.
Would this treatment harm my moss? Or particularly sensitive plants?
I have a few that I would find rather hard to replace.

I have. I was going to try nightly treatments until I got some other stuff to attack with.
But I did read it doesn't work well on these guys.

Peroxide!
I found a snail, and I had a dropper of peroxide near by... it fizzed up.. kind of like salt+snails.

Ray, do you sell on your website this oil you mentioned or the spray made from the oil and alcohol? What measurements you use please? I will get the oil, but I would love to know how much exactly to use of oil and alcohol if I need to ever use it on my miniatures. Many thanks
