to be honest, I don't really know! I enjoy repotting so maybe that's why? The plants don't seem to mind and bloom faithfully every year or more though.

Love the face on that one! Just looked up some information on them - they eat bugs, so that puts them in my good book. And millipedes eat plants - now I'll have to get rid of them. I thought it was the other way around.

Hey, that is exactly what I wish did not exist in this world. I have gotten brave enough to slay them when I am alone but I still prefer the husband to be the one to take care of them. I do feel bad about my fear and that they must die but, hey, it is either me or them.

I think the millipedes eat decaying plant matter, so if you have them in your pots its probably time to change the broken down media!

The red, hairless, many-legged ones (I never know which is which), have never seemed to harm my plants. Whatever they eat doesn't seem to exist in my orchid pots (in LECA or lava rock) so I never find them there. I don't mind these guys.

Correct. Millipedes eat decaying plant matter. And they definitely can't jump. They are slowwwwwwwwwpokes. Those house centipedes are great! They can't bite humans like other centipedes can.

I found a garden centipede in my greenhouse while repotting. After a little research I decided to let them live as they are predators and eat SLUGS!!!! Awww yeah!
