ants all over

its been raining a lot and as usual the ants seem very busy and all over the house and my plants,should i be worried?

Yes, ants can bring other, more-damaging insects with them.

You can make up a real good bait for them - a 1:1 mix of powdered sugar and boric acid will take care of them. If you dissolve 250 ml of that mix in about 500g of wax, pour it into a sheet and break it into pieces, it makes a waterproof version.
