Fungicide usage on phal

I am going to use Thyomil on a phal that looks to be starting or early stages of fungal infection , I am wondering the correct method of usage , do i dunk the entire plant , leaves and roots for 15 min , than let it sit to dry , than rinse with water than repot or perhaps trim some of the dead roots , than soak than hang out to dry .

I have read the instr. on bottle , 3tsp per gallon and this stuff is a grey powdery substance . I wanted some other feedback before i continue using this and how often should it be used .

I apply thiomyl in my greenhouse by spraying; I apply so as to thoroughly wet the leaves and drench the potting media. I allow the material to dry on the leaves and do _not_ wash off.
