Default Good news-flowers. Bad news-virus?

My windowsill Catts are doing great.

However, is this a virus on my under-lights minicatt?

Beautiful flowers!!!

While the red coloring is not bad, the way it appears looks rather funny. but you can never be sure of virus by just looking at them.
Why don't you test it for virus?

You can never be sure about virus or not.
However without any symptoms in the flowers I guess it is unlikely. This is because in Cattleyas and their hybrids CymMV and ORSV (=TMV-orchid strain) are the most important viruses, and both seem to cause in Cattleyas rather flower symptoms than leaf symptoms. On the other hand in Cymbidiums and many other orchid genera leaf symptoms are prevailing and flower symptoms are minimal.
For my private collection of Cattleyas I am actually ordering test strips.

I've seen cases that looked infected that tested negative, and I've seen cases that looked fine that tested positive. If you really would like to know, I would test it, it's just too hard to say otherwise.

The windowsill flowers are beautiful by the way!
