Ah. It did not come across that way, Brooke. (Ray certainly did not realize you were joking.) Definitely one of those situations in which text -- lacking the vocal intonation and facial cues that would be present in a face to face encounter -- fails to convey the "speaker's" message accurately.

FWIW -- I thought she was joking. I even chuckled when I read it. Then again, I do tend to have a sarcastic type of humor.

Great example of how we can read the same words but come away w/radically different interpretations.

I think her use of the "unhappy face" emoticon was what threw me off/made me think she was serious.
