Cattleya Leaf Problem - plant number 2
Default Cattleya Leaf Problem - plant number 2

Hi everyone,
This is the second Cattleya i have that has shown some problems in the last few days.

Last night i was putting the plant outside for some air and giving it a water along with a light spray of insecticide i noticed some damaging to the leaves.

A few days ago i brought it inside into my well lit laundry along with some others as it looked as though something had been eating at the leaves.

Before i brought it in i sprayed it with a systemic anti rot fungicide (yates phosacid anti rot) as a preventative as i was spraying some other orchids for anti rot.

(I don't know if this was the right thing to do or the right spray)

Before i brought the plant inside it didn't appear to have the lesions or the black spots or not to the extent in the photos.

In one of the images it shows that the leaf is folding or curling.

If anyone has any advice on what to do and what the problem might be that would be great.

The leaf in the 1st pic looks like it may be sunburn.

The leaf in the 3rd pic looks like it maybe insect damage.

I agree, with the sunburn. Some look like insect or maybe mechanical damage.

I agree, the first picture is sunburn. The other pictures are mostly mechanical damage.
