Default Fusarium ?

Ugh!

Actually, now that I have looked at my photos, I think I know my answer, but since I took photos, more opinions don't hurt ...
When I was just eyeballing the cut rhizome, the purple ring seemed thin and subtle, so I wasn't sure if it was fusarium, or if I have fusarium paranoia ... But it does seem fairly clear, especially in the photo I used zoom and flash

So, give me your opinions, please? I do suspect this is going in the trash, and trash gets picked up early tomorrow ...

I agree - fusarium. Potentially treatable, but difficult especially if the plant is in bad shape.

Thanks - I expected as much. Plant is in great shape - which is why I was so surprised to see this ... but, not a hard one to replace, and, I need to downsize anyway ...
