Most of the orchids I acquired from the GH closeout look to be a bit neglected.
Most are showing signs of minor fungal infections.
They will lose a few leaves, but most do seem to be clearing up now that they're getting good air and sun exposure.
I'm a bit concerned about my Rhynchostylus gigantia Red X Alba.
Here are some photos of it:

It had a black sooty fungal type coating on the leaf surfaces. I wiped them down with hydrogen peroxide and then drenched the plant with it.

The upper surface of the lower left leaf looks like this:

Looks to me like fungal infections from bug bites.

The underside of the leaf looks like this:

It looks to me like something has been burrowing around inside the leaf.

The other lower leaf on the right looks similar:

Only the two lowest leaves have these tunneling scars on them. The three upper leaves, while showing some fungal signs, look to be reasonably treatable.

Anyone know what has happened here?

The pigment on top of leaves is normal. Not sure abt markings on underside. Otherwise plant looks healthy.

If scarring does not spread, I would not worry.
