I recently got an oncidium plant in flower from my work for an awesome price but the leaves are curling and i have not seem pictures of oncidium like the way mine looks. hopefully it is just because it was dry when i received it and will be fine or will fix itself after a few waterings.
Alright that is good to know. Thanks, I have never owned an oncidium. I just have a few phalaenopsis and a dendrobium bracteosum. I was just making sure nothing is wrong with it since I know that for some plants that I have grown that leaf curl is a bad sign.

I have wondered about this too with my oncidiums. I noticed the leaves get this way on the day I water them and stay that way sometimes for the whole week. I assumed it indicated overwatering. I've always struggled with thinner rooted orchids. None of the ones at the grower's greenhouse had leaves like this when I purchased, so my assumption was that something I'm doing was less than ideal...
It looks okay to me as well..plant maybe just adjusting to you home's light levels. I would be more concerned if it starts to wrinkle, then it will mean it is getting very thirsty.
In my area Onc are such water hogs..loves to be kept moist a lot.
when larger leaves get older they will curl bec the humdity and light has been low. Anytime a plants leaves arent turgid and full of water then its not getting enough moisture or the roots are rotted and it cant push water into the leaf structure. Light levels work in unison with the water. If you arent getting the light then its not moving the water. Misting will not help IMO and doesnt replace humidity or watering.
Oncidiums can take the same light as cattleya and should be grown in relative high humidity with lots of fresh air in constant motion and never dry out. As said they are water hogs. If you dont give them the light to go with the water you will drowned it. A balancing act = to an orchid ballet
