I am not sure what this is, so pictures will be helpful.

In case it is a nasty disease, it's always a good thing to cut off the affected area because that's where the pathogens are loaded and continue to release spores or contagious liquid within the affected plant and to other plants nearby.

I don't know how to transfer pics but I have thee of this plant under heading "Need Diagnosis --- dated Sep. 4. I am learning to upload pics to website but it takes a while lol!
