Default *red balls on roots* very serious

Hello My Fellow Orchid Lovers,

Wanted to follow up on this red ball-fungi thing. I want to take the time to thank the person who helped me try to narrow down whats going on.

So THANK YOU SWEETJBLUE

With that being said, awoke this morning to find another Phal. showing same symptoms as the other Phal. In my earlier thread.
So I start looking at the plant a little closer (keep in mind I am in the middle of my repotting season), nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary upon visual inspection, when i began to touch and bend leaf up to look underneath it, pop, off it came and in succesion the othe dropped right there. Now having a plant with no leaves big deal in my book, I grab pot and leaves and head to what I call my quarantine area, just a laundry room that seperates house and garage. I pulled rootball out and saw those stupid orange balls. I said a couple of explicatives tossed it in a zipperloc bag, removed gloves and washed up with straight alcohol and proceeded to go through my notes. This scared me, because of the info on these buggers. According to my tag, and log book (actually the tag has a number which is then referenced to a 3x5 card with all info from that specific plant ie.-Nursery, purchase date, from who, pot size and media recieved in, date repotted, pot type and size, media being repotted in, plus other info like parents, siblings what ever I can find on that one plant) said I had repotted this plant on 7/6/14. Kinda troublesome I thought as this was only less then a month ago. Upon looking into it and reading my other tags and all their info, a few days before July 6 is right about the time I made a small change in my regimen.
It starts like this, its either very hot or very windy where I live. And I am a person who is either all in or all out, meaning I try to get the best in all of my affairs. So I usually get my media from a source that is great. I dont know if I am supposed to do this but I am giving my props. I typically get all my resources from a company called Repotme, great stuff and very helpful and patient . I TOTALLY RECOMMEND!. I use the Imperial Monterey Dark Mix, because I LIKE to water, and I was told this is good for me to use. Its hot here so why not give alot of fluids.so I started repotting with this media when I started collecting back in March. Itry to repot when I get the plant home but if not, tag and wait. Well for past month its been so hot I was given them a spritz in the evening like 7 or so. This was getting very tiresome and I will be returning to work soon and wont have the time to spend like that anymore, so I decided that I would add something to the media to hold some water for when I went to work. I have been hearing a lot of things about coconut chips and like so I decided to get some. There inlays the problem, stuff from Repotme is a 1 week to week and half out, and I have to keep going on repotting (I by almeans am not fast in repotting, liken it to a person seeing a baby, you know cootchy coo and all that). So I had the bright idea that I'm going to go to the local hydroponics store and there I can get my coconut chips. I purchased the chips take them home, break open the bag and rinse. After rinsing I let them sit for a day in sun to kinda dry them out. Then that evening went and used some of them, and kinda have been using them, not alot, since. I went and inspected the chips in baggie for #10 Phal. And found a bunch of coconut chips that had that reddish orange tinge but could not see the balls. Now I need to check all the plants#9-47 thoroughly and hope they are not effected but from the looks of a few#16 Phal. RP 7/16(Who just lost a leaf when I picked him up), #35 Dendrobium RP 7/14, #15 Cattleya RP 7/20 and #45,#46, #47 Phal. RP 7/30 I maybe in trouble. Well I should go and check on things and stick all my media out in sun 100deg weather should be good for something till I find out more.
Befor I go, "COMPLETE STERILIZATION OF MEDIA AND SURROUNDINGS" what and how does one attempt this inside a house.

Thank you all ahead time for your input, I maybe busy for awhile.
