Could this be a good or bad thing for my Doritonopsis 'Tinney Honey'

Hello fellow orchid lovers!
QUESTION- I've had this for about 4 weeks now, this is my third overall inspection of the plant since I purchased it from the grocery store. When I saw this I about dropped to my knees I think it's another Phalaenopsis, a mini one at that. It is probably wishful thinking on my part. The only thing I've seen out of this kind of stuff are parasites.
is this a good or bad thing? Should I toss it, keep it, seclude it, rip it off,and is it contageous?
I thought it was kinda funnyat first. Thought my Phal. hybrid had given birth to one, lol.
Any ideas on what this is?

I am not sure what you are referring to unless it is the little "mushroom like" object on the top of the dorsal sepal. I would flick it off with a fingernail and enjoy the flowers. Orchids are not plastic, cookie cutter flowers. They often have little abnormalities.

Yes that is exactly what I was trying trying convey, I guess it came out wrong.
So this is a mushroom? Its growing on the flower itself! Is this a normal thing, I tried to flick it, tried to pull it off once, but the whole Sepal wanted to go with it. Should I leave it?

It looks like pollonia of one of the other flowers is stuck to another flower. The part designed to stick to the pollinator can be quite sticky and can make it difficult to remove the pollonia once stuck to another object.

that is pollen stuck to the petal somehow - any of the flowers missing their nose cones? (pollen covers...)

It looks like pollina (the pollen sack) to me.

I laughed when I spotted it in the picture, because the first time I saw one stuck to a petal I panicked as well. Thought it was insect eggs or something.

If it hasn't come from one of your flowers it might have come from another it was sat next to in the store. I'm pretty certain it's Phal pollina though.

I, too believe it to be pollen from one of your orchid flowers. No pests or insects that I can see...BettyE.
