If the rose product has fertilizer, I would have to agree that it is fertilizer burn. Rose fertilizer is very strong and can kill plants that are sensitive to fertilizer. I would flush the medium really good to get rid of any residual fertilizer. If it loses all of its leaves, don't worry too much as cyncnodes tend to put up a second flush of growths.
You could always sprinkle the medium with Osmocote when it recovers. Good Luck!

If it is just from the sun and has stabilized, then you won't have to worry about anything more. I was concerned because I grow some plants that are sensitive to fertilizer. I've always stayed away from the stronger stuff with the orchids.
