Help,Miltonia bulb, oncidium mix with spots, weird varigation on cymbidium

I know there is something wrong with these guys, any insight would be greatly appreciated

1 Cymbidium has weird variagation, thought it might be fert. burn, changed that, still no go. tried to find disease or fungus but that was not helpful, asked orchid lady at our nursery, and no help there.I am kinda thinking on bad end at thispoint. Is this CMV or TMV? Does anyone know where to get the test kits for this!
2 Intergenerics have weird spotting on leavescouldnt seem to find anything on this as well
3 Miltonia psuedobulb turned yellow in past 2 days, the bulb isnt soft, just yellowing(whole thing) was getting ready to repot collection when I saw this.
Cant seem to see any buggies? Have tried some sprays but to no avail.
At a loss on what to do at this time, Plz help

I've now got a sore neck from looking at your photos. Any reason why they couldn't have been taken perpendicular?
My would be that the Cymb. might have got a bit of sun on the tip. If it is only 1 leaf, that is what I would say. For the Milt. Do you water overhead? I did this a couple of times in my g/h and my Oncids. had that strange spotting on their leaves. I hope other experienced growers help you.

First off, my apologies, Queenslander I am working off my tablet that is brand new and I'm still getting used to the little quirks.

No the Cymbidium has about 3 leaves like this and sits almost right next to another one underneath a tree, this popped up a couple of weeks ago when I had them both in the house, the other one has no varigation, the plant seems to be healthy otherwise, new growth is prevalent. I wanted to test because I didnt want it to come back inside with the rest of my collection. I was hoping to know for sure, the weather is getting very warm here, thats the reason I wanted them to come back in.

On the Milt. I dont water anyof my plants that way, they get watered with a 2gallon pump sprayer for approx 10secs. Its still in its old medium, but that will change today or tomorrow, reason im worried is it is 1 of 2 bulbs in that pot.

The rotting Onc pbulb could be cause for concern - if the rest of the plant looks good at the moment, there could be a fungal infection in the rhizome. I'd probably isolate that one, and watch to see if other pbulbs become affected. Cut off the rotted pbulb. Make sure to sterilize your cutting instrument well (before and after use), or use a new disposable blade.

Thank you whiterabbit, will do. Ill be doing that one very carefully, yes so far it is only that one bulb. And sanitation is in the forefront, I learned that the hard way with a couple of phals early on, needless to say they are still isolated in the garage were everything can controlled. Any thoughts on the test kits or some sort of testing station?

Regarding the photos, the OP's not the only one who experienced posting pictures and having them appear rotated in a different orientation. I've had it happen to me, and I'm sure a few others have had it happen to them too.

Yes happened to me too.

I think there are various ways that the 'metadata' in photos stores the orientation, and the forum does not understand them all.

I get the same problem on my digital photo frame, the photos that show sideways if I make them attachments here also show sideways on my photo frame.

If I rotate the picture on my PC so it's sideways, save it, then rotate it back to upright and save it again, it then shows upright on this forum and on my picture frame. I think the act of doing that saves the meta-data in a different way.

However I've also found that pictures from a Mac/iOS often show sideways when transferred to my PC, however my latest Windows 8 laptop shows them upright (same picture on the older Windows 7 shows sideways). Again if I rotate these on the PC they are then fine everywhere.

As I say, it seems that the 'metadata' is stored in different ways by different cameras/operating systems and unless the software you are using understands them all then some pictures end up sideways.

It seems to be happening more and more with photos from Android related devices as well.

The burning back on the Cym leaf tip appears to be nothing more than lack of water to the tip with a slow die back. It looks as if the leaf is bent? If so, that would be an obvious reason deterring the flow of water to the tip. Just make a clean diagonal cut with a sterile razor blade just below the bend. For other leaves, do the same just below the dead area. The plant looks healthy otherwise.

If a plant shows die back of multiple leaf tips, it generally means the plant has dried out too much in between watering/fertilizing and salts and minerals are accumulating at the tips. To preclude this from happening, either water more frequently or water 24 hours before fertilizing to flush the salts.

Cyms do that, mine did, and I guess it is due to our hot and dry temps here.. they are so thirsty especially during this warmer months.

Was your milt indoors all the time? One of my Onc did that only because I left them outdoors, but it is recovering, still yellow pb, but growing new pbs. Either your plant had felt a drastic temperature change at one point, or it is just the pb getting old. When was the last time your Milt got repotted? If you like, you can go and check the roots too, just to see how they are.
