Default another catasetum misbehaving...

I think my catasetums are all vying to see who can misbehave the most!!! This is now my frilly doris...on the 3rd of 4 largest growths I noticeda brown spot and some brown around the edges of the next leaf... I used sterilized hot scissors(my fingertips got rather warm themselves) to cut off the infected looking area to be safe. Its now away from the other plants until I know what is going on. The roots are fat happy and white...or green with green tips....whats going on with these guys!

Me either I sprayed all of them down with the cinnamon soap bacterial/fungal spray that that I see floating around to see if that was it...Other wise they all look really good. I moved it to a bigger pot today because it was getting to top heavy. Its green is a nice shade there are a few bug chewed holes on it but nothing out of the ordinary or major...no soft spots no black spots....They are just being honery....

You are right in cutting off the affected area. Dab the wound with a paste of cinnamon powder with a bit of water. Its a sort of fungi that starts at the tip of the leaves and slowly works its way.... you have nice warm humid weather that some fungi love....good air circulation can help.

Positive. They all have plenty and ample room between them and any surroundings.

Im severely allergic.and my dog is very territorial no outsiders of any sort is allowed near my greenhouse (he also won't go near it) or me. Including my own brother haha, not sure if this is good or bad.

Bad part is he is also very particular about which ups/fedex guy comes bc one of them gives him a treat when he comes. So if it the wrong one I have to be there or they wont get out. He is rather a toad.
