Here's what I know about the orchid's background. My sister was home for the weekend because she had to move out of her college dorm room before she could move back into the dorm. So she came home with all her stuff on Friday, and then went back to her college yesterday.
Among her possessions were a "lucky bamboo" that she's had for a long time, and apparently a Phalaenopsis. I found the two plants just today, sitting in a bin under the carport, where they are shaded. Turns out my mom had at some point found them in the van and moved them out of the van because she was worried they'd get too hot, and my sister had forgotten about them before going back to the college.
So now I've got these two plants to babysit until we can get them back to my sister. I'm a bit concerned about the Phal, though.
It needs repotting because it's currently in really gross soggy moss, but that's an easy thing to fix. What I'm worried about is the look of one of the leaves.
I can also sort of see on the underside of the leaf where the light parts are. They seem slightly wrinkled on those parts.
Also, this is the only leaf that's like this. Could it just be sunburn, or is it more likely to be something worse?
