Hello everyone. I just noticed this 'scar' on my mini phal. Is it mechanical damage or something else? It doesn't seem to be spreading but I have never seen anything like it before. Thank you for help!

You answered your own question. It does look like a scat from mechanical damage. Nothing to worry about as long as it isn't spreading.

Nothing to worry about....scraped by a blunt object....the wound healed well.
I also noticed a nice light coloration on the edges of the two bottom leaves that is unique to certain species of Phalaenopsis.

I also suggest to buy online or at Ebay some Phalaenopsis stuartiana or philippinensis....even if they are not in bloom the tiger spots on the leaves are beautiful....the flowers are also fragrant.

Agreed, looks mechanical and like it's healed with no problems.
