I grow Phrags in Leca, usually S/H, so there is no fertiliser at all naturally there. I'm currently trying a weak solution of Akerne's Rain Mix (MSU equivalent) with every other watering. It's meant to be used weak with every watering for most orchids, but for Phrags I use it even weaker and not every time.
I use Rain Mix on my other orchids which are mainly Cattleya alliance every watering at 0.5grms per litre, You have probably seen ( on a forum ) of the pots I am using for these. They dry out very quickly and need watering every 3-5 days but I suppose the fert is only used around 4 times per month. They are all in 12-18mm orchiata with no additives and are doing well.
