Mealies on paph? And what is this on bulbo? Male
Default Mealies on paph? And what is this on bulbo?

What exactly do mealies look like, an how can I get rid of them?
It looks like whitish powdery stuff.

Also, one on my bulbos leaves started turning yellow. This has happened before and eventually it just fell off the bulb. But the yellow is spreading and the top of the pseudo bulb looks yellow too. What should I do?

Can you put up a picture. The females I believe it is are inside white fuzzy stuff but the males if you look close are white bugs and you can sometimes see them crawling.

It's hard to see in this pic, it's a tiny spot just where the leaves overlap.

hard to tell in one pic....check real close on all your plants, in crevices...where theres one there is more if its mealies...that pic might be a mealie, they will come on any type orchid...if you don't have an insect control regime, you need to start one on general principle....systemic (which gets in the tissues of the plant and kills anything sucking on them) every month, and an insecticidal soap/seven mix every month, alternating treatments, is what I do and its very effective. good luck!

I can't tell either. If it is of course keep it by itself. You may already have it isolated. I had them on some of mine came from a jade plant. I did spray with soap and neem oil and also drenched with the neem.

Also I finally got rid of the last of them by just squishing them. I would go over them every day, it gave me great pleasure.
