New Paph question? Male
Default New Paph question?

Hello everyone. I purchased my first ever Paph today. I'm very excited but noticed something that maybe you all could help me identity. The plant looks very healthy so I may be over reacting but I'm seeking advice! Below other the pictures. Is this normal for Paphs? Anything I need to be concerned over?

I'm not sure what you are referring to?
Can you be more specific?

By the way, if you are talking about purplish coloring under the leaves, it is normal for dark flowered paphs like yours to have them. Some have a lot more than that, and some have completely dark purple underside.

My apologies for not being specific. I was worried about the dark coloring not just under the leaves but also, of you look closely it's on the inside of one of the smaller leaves as well. I just wanted to make sure the plant was healthy. It looked healthy to me, just wanted a few more opinions.

Yes, the coloring on the upper side is also common and is perfectly normal for these.
