No, I meant what are some "really easy and effective controls for both insect and fungal issues" ?

The bayer 3-in-1 that I use (recommended by my orchid club) is "insect, disease, & mite control ". The 3-in-1 that you mentioned has fertilizer, insect and fungus control. I use that on my roses. I would worry that the fertilizer in the product could be too strong for orchids. The product I use has no fertilizer. I'm not sure if it comes in a concentrate. It is meant to be sprayed on the leaves.

Laurel

I use cinnamon for anything fungal, as for insects depends on what you have i guess but castile soap, alcohol, neem. I'm sure if you google it you would get a lot of different ideas.

I always start with neem oil. Only use the chemicals if the neem can't cope. Luckily I don't get fungus on anything but my stanhopeas. Scale I remove with a q-tip or toothbrush and rubbing alcohol. I wait till I see a problem rather that spraying to keep problems from arising. I would go broke if I sprayed everything with bayer on a routine basis.
