That is a Cattleya, not an Oncidium. They have somewhat different cultural requirements. They like to thoroughly dry out between watering. Also, to me your media is pretty fine for a Catt. I use medium bark and it is usually recommended to keep it quite chunky and open with good drainage. Oncidiums like a finer mix and to be watered before they are completely dry. This could be why they are suffering.

Yes I fixed it, I have both and wasn't paying attention. Yes I let them dry out, 7 to 10 days between watering.

The roots don't look too good and the potting media seems too fine. I would CAREFULLY peel the dry bracts from around the base of the pseudobulbs. There may be some active eyes just waiting to start growing under there. If you can get any new growths then they will produce new roots and it should be OK. I would use some seaweed when you water as it helps stimulate root growth.
