Update guys!
So yeah, it was getting just a bit too much light. Not too much to cause sunburn, but one leaf was definitely turning a shade of brown-green. I placed the phal behind a cymbidium and now the spike is growing faster than ever!

Orchid Whisperer, I completely agree. I was very iffy about potting it in that pot because of the lack or drainage, but I did not have any options at the time (of course I could have waited to buy another, but didn't want to
)
I will definitely repot it in something with better drainage or even attempt to drill holes in that same pot if it hasn't grown too much (I'll probably end up breaking it that way anyways haha).
