Black spots on the bottom of Rhyncatlaelia Irvine Sunset
Default Black spots on the bottom of Rhyncatlaelia Irvine Sunset

I bought this several years ago, it bloomed for me a couple of years back, beautiful flower, but from the start had odd speckled black spots on the bottom of the leaves. I wasn't sure what to do about it, it never spread to other orchids nearby.... but about 6-8 weeks ago, I started spraying it with Bayer 3 in 1, an insecticide/disease combo. If I'm not mistaken, the black spots seem to be healing over, or maybe I'm imagining it. And, this week it started blooming again on a slightly extended spike - I would have sworn it was on short growth before.

Attached, a few pictures of the blooms, and the back of the leaves with speckles, and the face of the leaves where you can see the leaf tissue struggling, yellowish parts.

So, anybody have any idea what I've been battling? Virus? bacteria? fungus? odd that this is the only plant I have showing these symptoms - it had none when I bought it and no other plants from that vendor show these symptoms.

Gorgeous blooms!

I hope someone can help with the foliage issues.
