Default CMV?

Hi people

Just yesterday, I just realized that I had a cymbidium laying out in the backyard. It had a spike so I decided to bring it in. I tortured it for years and this is what came out. Can someone plz tell me if this plant has CMV? Thank You in advance.

Very likely it is not, but the only way you can know for sure is to get it tested. There are often visual signs of virus, some are pretty telling, but in truth, there are a number of other pathogens and cultural issues that can produce similar looking results.

At the end of the day though, if you suspect it's got a virus, it's best to just toss the plant and not risk it. Particularly if you have other orchids.

looks like it has a bit of a fungal problem to me....I would use physan regularly along with a fertilizer as it looks pretty hungry....maybe a dose of a copper based bactericide/fungicide would be in order.....if you really think it might be a virus....test it before tossing it, it looks to be a nice plant that blooms, why toss it needlessly? good luck!
