Mini phal leaf center discoloring

I noticed this today. It's like the center of the leaf is bruising or something. Nothing traumatic has happened to it recently. The leaf it's on is the newest leaf. The pic is from the underside of the leaf, its more noticeable from underneath. Any ideas? Otherwise the plant is doing good...even has a new spike growing...

I am having a similar problem on my phal as well. The new leaves are not flat and have bruises on the bottom side.

Can anyone advise what is the cause?

Please keep us informed on this as I would love to see how it turns out.

It is not a bug damage for sure.
My personal take would be just a physiological stuff or wrong gene turned on.
The leaves are all nicely green otherwise and beautifully round shape too!

I have a mini phal that looks almost the same. Very round light green leaves.
