Hydrogen Peroxide for snails in orchid pots?

Glad to hear to the good news!

Just for precaution, when you have orchids that are sending up new shoots at the base, examine them every evening just in case. I find that the bushsnails love to eat those tender new growths.

Even if you don't see any, they might be inside the pot eating up roots.

I do not use hydrogen peroxide as I had terrible results on leaves, so I'm not going to take a chance on the roots which I don't plan to take out and check every so often. I don't like to disturb roots ever! well, except for a really really needed repotting of course.
