ummm paph honey leaf issues...
Okay not sure if this is normal or not started to notice this spotting and browning on lower paph leaves? Whats going on?
It gets bright indirect light. High humidity (in my rehab room) 2 gallon cool mist humidifier. Window cracked barely; ceiling fan going. Sits in starbucks cup lots and lots of holes in good draining mix. Not to tight. Dries out but not completely... Has good roots this is my monster paph. Maybe sulking? A division broke off it was so heavy when trying to decifer healthy vs dead roots...

Leaf tips turn brown like that, usually, for one of two reasons. Too much fertilizer or softened water. How much fertilizer are you using?

Do you happen to use calcium nitrate to supplement Calcium for your paph? Calcium nitrate delivers Nitrogen too.

Yes...I would use bottled or get an RO system. In the long run, would probably work out better for you. You'll have to switch fertilizers though. MSU for pure water. (Distilled) Ray sells a good fertilizer much like MSU...but cheaper!

Ahhhhh! You're giving more nitrogen than you anticipated! That's probably why your leaves are burning. I'd flush them out really really good and try to figure out how much nitrogen you're delivering with the MagiCal.

Okay. I usually do a flush mid week. And after each time I use the seaweed so my house does not smell like a lake..

I like that smell! But then again, I like the smell of gasoline and paint...and glue...especially orthopedic prosthesis glue...
