Kindra, few tips - I do not have any of my bulbos on full sun, they do not need full sun and as I do understand it they do not like full sun! Many of them prefers shaded location, intermediate light, and when they do like high light, I would not expose to full sun, maybe some filtered! Also, they love humidity and most important moisture! If you water, than water them in the morning before you leave, this way they will actually stay moist through out the day and dry slowly towards the evening! The afternoon watering is probably not the best idea, I would switch your routine, good watering in the morning, and misting in the afternoon! It is dehydrated and it has some sun damage in my eyes. If you think you can not keep up with watering regime, than switch from the mount to pot with some mix that will keep moist, and good air circulation and drainage - All of my bulbos are either mounted or in plastic baskets. I hope this helps.

Okay heres it soaking again. Seaweed ex. And distilled water. Cut the mount, placed it net basket with moss and hydroton around it on top of tupperware with water that just touches the bottom.
It will get bright inderect light (west I think) w cover from my back porch. I have a 2 gallon cool mist humidifier. W ceiling fan going a crack in window for some cooler air.
Will this work I call this room my rehab room.

I know some keep bulbos in the water tray, I do not, I make sure I water the medium well every day or every second day, and mist it every day. But since they love to be moist it will probably work, just make sure the roots have enough place to breath and won't be submerge to water constantly. The way it is now looks fine. Hope it will recover soon.

I don't know that letting it sit in water will be good for it! Its not in that much trouble so I would just treat it normally. Keep it in that west exposure and water it as it dries out once a day or every other day.
