No, Gloria, I don't. I have had this orchid since May of this year. I bought it from Home Depot. Maybe something still in there? Don't know. Will look closer tomorrow when I water. Other than these holes, this plant is healthy and a new flower spike is starting to show.

your plant look verry healthy except for the holes. to catch the snails check halve an hour after lights out. you will find them in the open snacking on the leaves.
otherwise i would replace all the potting material and wash the pots, because eggs might be clinging to it
The quotation above was in a separate new thread, but I assumed it was actually for you

...much better yet, than the methods above: place a slice or two of a fresh cucumber on the top of the pot (on the cuture medium) and let it there for 45 minutes (in the dark!). Then check below it... if you have slugs or snails living with your Phal, they will all be eating from the cucumber at the that time... repeat this again on the same night, and then every 4/5 days during 1.5 months (to catch all of them, and in case thei laid eggs!)

Ooooh I just assumed you already repotted when you brought it home, why I don't know
Anyways, Linda, yes yes check inside the media - you just might come across some freeloaders there.

Well, I got this Phal repotted today and found nothing in the mix. No snails, so I am not going to worry about this. My Phal seems quite happy putting out new flower shoots and roots. Maybe the new mix will cure it. Thanks everyone for your input.
