Unhappy Help w/ Den. Spring Dream "Apolon"

Hello everyone,
This morning when checking my plants I found the two new growth in my Den. Spring Dream had what look like water log or crown rot if that makes sense. Pictures are attached.

What I did was cut into healthy tissue w/ a sterile blade and applied cinnamon to the cut, I inspected the rest of the plant and it looks good, apart from currently loosing some old flowers.

Question is should I isolate the plant?

Should I treat it with a fungicide or wait a see?

Thank you for all your help.

I think you did the right thing. I would wait and see and take further action if it seemed to spread.
