The lighting is better on the one below, but I couldn't manage to get the same angle of the flower spikes.

pleurothallis leaves
 
had the same thing from velaticaulis, after a week,
found it was getting sun in AM though screen on Florida room,[December time of year] moved it to all shade ok!:twocents:

I last month I took some of my plants to someone very familiar with Pleurothallids and he confirmed your assertion. I had allowed too much sun on them. They used to be on the West side of the greenhouse, now they are on the East side behind double shade cloth. They were fine until they started getting the Summer sun, longer and hotter.
Lesson learned, "shade" really means shade :blushing:
