Exclamation Pseudobulb problems on bulb. echinolabium

When i recieved my bulbophyllum echinolabium, there were these brown little dents in the first two or three p-bulbs. Now, it looks like its spreading? Also, little lines are appearing on the p-bulbs, and one is actually on a leaf:

Can you see the dents? It almost looks like something has taken a bite out of the p-bulb. Also can you spot the little dark lines?

Aside from this, it seems to be doing well. It is currently putting out a new growth.

Thanks.

Try and see if there is an insect doing that kind of damage.

The easiest way to flush them out is to soak the plant in water for a few hours, and see if anything crawls out.

Then take appropriate measure to get rid of the pest.

If it is not because of an insect, then I'd say to find a place that has a nice little breeze with the same kind of lighting intensity and put the plant there for a while to see how it does.

Btw, try not to cover any part of the pseudobulbs with moss, could cause problems later.

In the wild, the moss on the trees don't even cover the rhizomes; the roots go on top of the moss, and the roots sometimes gets lost in the moss, but the pseudobulbs and the rhizome are not covered by moss.
