Why not just move the plant? His own kitty grass might help. Some cats seem to need it to aid digestion.

Argh. My cats do the same thing. It's SO annoying and she too waits until I'm not around to do her deed. I have several orchids inside now because of all this Florida rain...which is quite inconvenient on multiple levels. My orchid house is so close to being complete that I can smell it. Meanwhile, the cats nibble.....

I like Squirrels idea!
