Yes, that exactly^. That would be like Ford delivering a car to you with a gigantic dent from a sideswipe down the body. It's just totally crap customer service and terrible quality assurance.

Just got a reponse from Hausermann and the guy said it was most likely heat in shipping. He assured me that they obviously would not send something in that condition. They're send me replacemtents. Hooray!!!

Well, good that they resolved it. ANd yes, I can well imagine it is hot enough to cook a plant in a box.
