Brassavola 'Little Stars' problem? Male
Default Brassavola 'Little Stars' problem?

Hello,

There seems to be some weird markings on my brassavola, can anyone identify what it is? I fear it's some fungal, bacterial or viral attack.

I'd give the plant a misting of Listerine...the regular brown kind, not the minty stuff. I get the store brand rather than the name brand as it's too expensive.
I've used it in the past when I've seen stuff like this and it has worked in preventing it from going any further.

Wow Suzanne, I have Little Stars also and that is a good piece of info I will tuck away in case. Listerine, huh? Learn something new every day here on the OB.
Thanks! kiki-do

I use it anytime I see something on any of the 'chids that looks like this.

Good advice Susanne.
I'd also suggest using rust-free stakes / wires to support the plant.
