Anytime you see brown patch with watery halo around it, be VERY alarmed as it is a aggressive rot.
You did a good job trimming the affected area away but I would have cut more.
I personally do not advocate so much about the effectiveness of cinnamon powder. It is almost useless against some strong pathogens.
Keep a close eye on this plant.
If you find the plant valuable to you, it might be a good idea to use something strong.
What ligh setup do you use? Strong natural light combined with a good general culture usually keep serious diseases away unless they are otherwise introduced by neighboring plants that are already sick.
Another thing I noticed is that in your first photo, the leaves have some water on them.
Do you always mist or water over the whole plant like this?
It is generally not a good idea unless they dry out in less than one hour.
